This picture summarizes various stages of my life starting from my birth in Turkey, continuing with my education in Istanbul High School, Bogazici University, work experience in Alcatel Telecom (Istanbul), my marriage to my wife, move to the USA to study at the University of Illinois, getting my Ph.D. degree, move to Germany where I worked in Deutsche Telekom Laboratories, the birth of my first son, and my assistant professorship in Technical University of Berlin, the birth of my second son, move to Australia to join the Dept. of EEE at The University of Melbourne and becoming a professor.
